Oak Hill Cemetery


Oak Hill Cemetery, Talladega, Alabama. The remains of the soldiers killed during the Battle of Talladega were re-buried here at Oak Hill Cemetery and this monument erected by the Andrew Jackson Chapter of the D.A.R. in 1897.

Heritage Hall


Jemison-Carnegie Public Library c.1907, Talladega, Alabama Mrs. Lou McElderry Jemison donated the land and $10,000 towards building Talladega’s Public Library, along with the Andrew Carnegie Foundation.
